Here is the weekly minus the major outlook which suggested the high

You can see the argument for the guy who suggested 1400 in the article, however i would be more confident after minor and major resistance were taken out.
As a trade to take gold long from here i see a 7% risk in the trade, so you can see why i think resistance needs to go first
If i was long from within the 5% risk area, i might add i wouldnt be selling either
