I look at the NBN debacle - the number of people who were vehemently AGAINST FTTP was the majority in Tamworth and Armidale. Almost violent in how much they were against it. They couldn't explain it, but they HATED it. NOW they all desperately want it in their homes...
There is a majority of working women who want their houses, and their investment properties to go up in value. They will stomp over other women happily to get theirs - seen it too many times to have some fanciful notion that they will not vote Liberal just because " women" in general will be better off.
