And, while I can sympathise with your position on gender balance, you can't deny that the electorate has by majority either not given a shit about it for several decades, or figured it to be further down their list of priorities than it is for you personally. That is also democracy, and a 'strategy' (or at least characteristic) that has been carried to a great many nearly-consecutive victories since the 1990's.

I don't know the woman who was not selected, or Kennedy. I only know that a local woman was not selected but a man who lives outside of the electorate won the selection.

this tells me all that is necessary as I'm addressing the Lib bias against women.\\do you know either of these people treefer? can you provide reasoning why he was chosen and not she?

I think the example of the Teal wins in '22 says that voters are indeed concerned about this problem the libs have. voters are concerned else the Teals woul not have been able to beat incumbent Lib MP in what have been safe seats for many years.... crikey even Kooyong and Frydenberg lost out to a relatively unknown woman. Frydenberg who was so strongly popular in the electorate with buckets of cash to put up plenty of signs, but couldn't attract the supporter volunteers to work for him.
