    It takes on average 16 years for a new copper mine to get into production.
    Grades around the world are falling, very few mines will be opened for the mainder of this decade.
    In the US many proposed mines, e.g Resolution are facing environmental and first nations legal challenges.
    In South America locals can place operating mines under vitual siege at any time and many environmental legal challenges are before the courts.
    In Africa there are some newly developed mines in DRC and Zambia. But their longevity is yet to be tested. The words 'sovereign risk' always ring loudly when thinking of African mining.

    Canada seems to be one of the few jurisdictions where mining is welcome and thriving.
    Australia is now problematic with wall to wall Labor and The Greens.

    With demand mountains you cannot leap over and all of the above the is only one way the copper price go. Up.

    I am in FFM and AIS. I missed the SFR boat but good luck to SFR holders.
