They claim, with their costing technique, that the unreliables will last 50-60 years which is the minimum expected life of a nuclear plant.
Over a 50 year period ....
How many times will the solar panels need to be replaced in those solar 'farms'? How many solar farms will be destroyed by hailstones and need to be replaced? How many dud panels will be sent over by the CCP with a shortened life built into them?
How many blades will need to be replaced on those wind turbines? How many will just catch fire and need to be replaced? What is their life expectancy in any case?
Why does Bowen infer that the unreliables will last 50 years without any need to be replaced?
Why does Bowen and the whole sect believe that intermittent power from the unreliables is fine provided the CCP can expand its coal fired power fleet?
Why does the sect as a whole demand that we be driven back into the pre-industrial era while they support the CCP becoming the pre-eminent military power in the world?
Why are sect members so gullible when you consider how hollow the sect leaders, like Greta and Chris , are?
