    Nope.

l merely pointed out that SA are prices are coming down . All thanks to more renewables entering their system . Resulting in less need for gas fired generation which is very expensive .

As you highlighted in the evidence you supplied in your post . Gas power is expensive and drives power prices up. Your words . Not mine.

SA won't ever be disconnected from the grid . That is just a very silly thing to say .

We have an east coast grid for a reason. lt was established so that coal fired generators could share power across borders thus making supply more reliable and competitive . lt will remain in place under renewable energy for exactly the same reason .

SA will become a net electricity exporter over the next 5 years . Once Project Energy Connect is completed SA will be able to export large amounts of surplus electricity . Doesn't mean it won't need to import occasionally but on an annual basis it will produce more electricity than it uses .

Btw. Feel free to post an example of a country or large state anywhere in the world that is operating on a 100% modern renewable energy system . l'm not talking lceland or others that are just about all hydro. That is an old technology .

Show me a country that is running off a 100% modern renewable energy system and then we'll compare that to a fossil fueled one and we'll see who's better .
