Maybe Bumi should have gone to international arbitration/courts rather than the supreme court in Woodside's backyard (WA).
Interesting that Woodside was able to terminate the fspo contract early with Bumi. Seems it was signed with Apache and Woodside inherited it on purchasing Apache's interest. I wonder if this caused additional problems with the leasing option for us on 2 fronts (1) Woodside having history on terminating fspo contracts early and (2) unclear title which appears risky for contracts.
Maybe Bumi should have gone to international arbitration/courts...
