Took my first ride in a Tesla Y - An UBER from Central London to Heathrow. Not subject to an emissions charge (AUD 25 a day) and needing no petrol at AUD 2.80 a litre. Driver said he charged overnight at home on a standard single phase power supply. Cost to me was considerably less than the equivalent ride at home in NZ. I wondered how he could afford the car until I did the sums. (Thanks, as usual to $LTR for the trip)
