Interested to get your takes on Nero.
I voted with the board and majority but I found Russell Delroy quite refreshing. McClusker’s representative less so.
Nero clearly trying to have influence to protect his interests, but found generally aligned with shareholders interests. He probably has a shorter time frame on return in mind compared to the board.
I don’t have any issues with him trying to keep them on their toes, as long as he doesn’t harm long term value. In my opinion they neither represent a white knight or enemy of the state.
Seems the Nero beef with Debra relates to appointment of Capricorn MD weeks before an AGM and the contract termination arrangement costing $250k for two weeks work (I’m just paraphrasing what I picked up from the questioning).
