Agree fully with you connie58. The reference to NZ is in the context of NZ stastically doing so well with managing Covid even better than Australia. States in OZ until recently also had an elimination policy but unfortunately the Federal govt has given up on that and a pressuring the states to opt for living with the virus. Its an out of control debacle in the States of NSW and now also Victoria caused by Covid being exported from NSW to Victoria.
The States, particularly Western Australia will resist that with good reason as they have managed to stop Covid in its tracks and West Australians and business are able to function without restriction
