    Hi gve,

"We can conclude from Israel’s experience that either the Pfizer vaccine does not protect against Covid, of which Israel seems to be heavily infected, or the vaccine causes Covid, or causes adverse reactions that are confused with Covid."

Whether vaccines protect against Delta depends on what you expect the vaccine to do. It's fairly clear now looking at the data that current vaccines do not fully protect against Delta transmission.

However, the same data also shows the vaccines greatly reduce the chance of hospitalisation and death.

COVID is going to be endemic. The time for counting case numbers has passed. Everyone is going to contract COVID at some stage, probably multiple times in their lives. It's each person's decision as to whether they want their immune system to know what's coming at the point of initial infection (being vaccinated), or allowing the immune system to be flying blind into initial infection (unvaccinated).

The data is clear as to the protections the first generation of vaccines provide against hospitalisation and death.

Israel is currently in the same position as the UK. Cases are rising upon the re-opening up of society, but hospitalisations and deaths are occurring disproportionately in the unvaccinated community.

    Cheers!
