Booster shots may be required for vulnerable populations. Updated vaccinations likely required going forward, as per influenza. This is the first generation of vaccines, IMO they'll improve over time.

As I said earlier, the data is very clear regarding the protection the vaccines provide against hospitalisation and death.
For over 50 year olds;
Severe cases in the vaccinated population, 12 per 100,000.
Severe cases in the unvaccinated population, 158 per 100,000.
I'm not sure how/why those numbers can be argued against as far as 'effectiveness' or 'protection' goes?
