Sent an e-mail to a close friend at their place of work - (high senior admin position in a tertiary education facility - of course a very Leftist environment) - this friend off to London soon - this e-mail came to me from someone else, and I onforwarded - it was not offensive, just gave facts, but a highly critical one of the British immigration crisis, re. current issues in London, and other UK cities, since the hugely increased Muslim population and the resultant social tensions there, complete with statistics.
She left her desk for a short time, screen left open as she was mi-read. The IT technician came along meanwhile, in their "check and help" rounds to various offices - read said e-mail - (which also contained private family chatter) - and dobbed her in to the top admin for having s0called "propaganda" up on her screen. She was subsequently hauled over the coals over it. (What, IT technician - OK. is it, to read, and interpret the intent, and dob in recipients, of other's private e-mails, just because your political views don't align?)
No this wasn't porn - or vicious libel - or defamation - just an opinion piece article! A private e-mail!
George Orwell - it's actually happening. Big Brother - rampant and subjective political correctness - and the road to dictatorship. Should proposed legislations be brought in next year - and we can no longer, then, say anything, anywhere "which may offend anyone! Freedom of the Press - and Our rights to free speech - now severely under threat of dangerous attack.
Motto - always close screen before toilet or other short breaks! Big Brother IS watching! And WE must confirm - and this will get worse.
