Why do people always assume that these culprits are muslim ?

That clearly doesn't depict individuals of muslim origin to be the prime suspect. Plenty of Mediterranean individuals with dark skin just as their are also plenty of muslim individuals with fair skin.

I guess it just goes with the assumptions made by many here that the solution to all crime is always muslim lol

FWIW considering these girls followed the men don't you think it would be more likely they had followed some dashing young greek men or the like with dark sun kissed skin than they would follow some Arabic boat people ?
