A year ago when my portfolio was worth $200,000 they didn't seem like spec shares. But now that I've lost 90% it appears that I have gambled my life savings away.

It has taken a huge crisis like this to finally make me wake up to myself. But as you said it's no use selling now, even though two have gone bankrupt an another couple are on the verge.
