You paid a premium for your CSL shares. When I began trading CSL, I paid one hundred 146$. The highest prices I paid were 160$, 183$ and 194$. The highest price at which I sold out was 320$. If you had based your purchases on technicals other than mere moving averages, you would have noted quite a few buy and hold opportunities on the way up.
