Here's a fun fact, when the GFC hit, csl had started its slow decline, and if you waited til csl broke through the peak of its pre gfc high (in 2012) before buying, and held til prior the covid crash, you would've made 700% returns. 700% in about 7-8 years...that's awesome. now if you bought using certain buying techniques like trend line entries, you would've made 1000% on your return due to earlier entry signals.

i love this stock, one of the few buy and hold stocks there is on the asx. if anyone is feeling nervous about their investment in csl...don't be. if you bought with the intent to buy and hold, in ten years time this will make you money. However, medium term and short term, it's still very possible we have some more downside, only real reason i can think of is bigger funds move into more riskier investments, due to the potential for higher gains. so don't be nervous about this investment, it'll rise again. On my watchlist, I will be buying on the next leg up, as I'm sure everyone else will be too.
