Regarding point #8, ex vice-potus Mike Pence sure found life was hanging by a thread when he stepped away from the Trump cult during the failed coup attempt on Jan. 6, 2021.
no sooner had Pence stepped up to the line to perform his sworn constitutional duty as vice-president and rejected Trump's insane demand to deny the election of Biden than the members of his former cult were chanting "hang Mike Pence."
it was as clear a warning as could be given of the dangers of stepping outside the cult echo chamber.
it was interesting to see how Australian cult members on HC threads behaved during those mad few weeks as their narcissist hero Trump tried and failed to come to grips with his mass rejection by American voters.
despite the relative meaninglessness of Trump's loss to them in actuality, many showed their undying love and support for their hero, er godhead.
they were easy to pick on HC. From about mid December 2020 to Jan. 6 their rallying cry became "NOT LONG NOW" as though it mattered a jot.
it didn't, but their worship of their cult hero was writ large for all to see forever.
