A client of mine traveled to the US extensively for work - mostly between 2014 and 2019.
He also disliked Trump.
But he saw what was going on there. People on the ground were actually saying just that. There were no wars, jobs were plentiful, crime was under control and the stock market was flying.
People there on both sides were openly saying how good it was. The 'wasteful' Obama years were behind them and the general mood was optimistic.
Problem was, the majority liberal Democrat media was spewing forth all kinds of garbage, trying to muddy the waters, so the real message wasn't getting out.
Now they have rampant inflation, rampant crime and rampant government spending, which the people aren't benefiting from.
Build Back Better was supposed to fix all this and bring equality and stability to the nation. In fact, it has done the exact opposite.
Folks are generally wary of what they're posting on social media as they're afraid the government may come after them for 'disloyalty' to the elites.
