Russia occupies far less of Ukraine than it had 3yrs ago.
A Super Power reduced to using donkeys on the battle field.
Can't fly it's planes over unoccupied Ukraine.
Black sea fleet what's left has left by canals to escape being sunk there.
NOW Pulling T34's from museums to send to the front line.
Lost 1/3rd of its total air force to a country it doesn't accept even exists.
Plus another 30 or more bombers and AWACS in the last 3 days.
Hasn't built any replacement planes of most types for over 30yrs and has been cannibalising what it has to keep them flying.
You could liken it to the Battle of Britain and the loss of German air superiority and to the start of the end of German Military Power.
All done with surplus old junk predominantly weapons from western scrap yards and marked for expensive decommissioning in the US and old Soviet weapons from around the world in a massive clean-out of warehouses.
Now it's getting stuff such as aircraft that are only 25yrs old so a little more modern, but still mainly also mainly obsolete weapons, earmarked for disposal by those supplying them from Vietnam times.
Ukraine of old was the technology warehouse of the old Soviet Union and most of it's old planes/parts and electronics were manufactured there.
That is why it is now transferring that innovation to being able to be hammering all of Russia's military manufacturing infrastructure, hitting Moscow and distribution infrastructure and airports across the vast country from one end to the other without using aircraft.
Sounds very much like pre-invasion/liberation Europe to me.
The Russian side just doesn't realise it's already lost just yet and can't protect it's own territory from attack.
In the meantime it is being bled of its military potential daily to the benefit of European security.
All good for AURIC and Gold, with the Chinese and others soaking up as much gold as they can instead of holding US dollars or bonds that could become worthless in a conflict.
