lol I think you have been watching too much of our propaganda channels. Ghost of Kiev comes to mind lol. I follow some interesting mapping channels which have both Ukraine and Russia followers (fairly unbiased) and Russia are starting to take huge amounts of land now. I suppose the US support dropping off has allowed this to happen - per Trumps election campaign of stopping financial and some military support. I agree, I expected Russia to be a lot more powerful than they have been but I guess they do not want to egg the rest of the world into direct involvement. If they increased civilian casualties and ramped up the war then that would likely happen and you would have EU troops, maybe even US troops on the ground with air support. It appears Russia have a plan of a prolonged war to gradually grind down Ukraine and it has worked to a certain degree with political shifts and some help drying up from the west which has allowed some large gains in the past couple of months. Overall no winners in war with all those people dying
