The weakness of MAGA / Trump supporters in their supposed willingness to negotiate with war criminal Putin by even convincing themselves defending Ukraine serves 'them' no purpose really highlights the trend towards populist US politics.
Creating a frenzy of fear mongering, whipping up ignorant nationalism in an insulated bubble by fooling the average working American to think Trump
will serve their needs by ignoring the needs of global stewardship is no different to a fool selecting the biggest gift under the Christmas tree (and it's full of fluff). The Trump supporters can't reflect on how his actions are causing irreparable damage to the US. And only those who know better are just in it for the populist ride hoping massive political donations will curry favour for their massive businesses (Musk).
