And re Elon Musk’s vehicle announcement yesterday, he might think he’s running the high-tech world but I’m pretty sure there’s no evidence yet of any magnets with the power-weight ratio that NdPr can provide becoming available. We’ve seen these claims before, and while the road vehicle market is significant there are a hell of a lot of other applications where weight and power are even more important, imo.
