Gee I think we need think pretty hard on this as what your saying is fanciful at most .
I like all the drought proofing stuff water pipelines etc but the rest well the rate of population growth into Australia wont make it a rich country for all that's for sure .
We have managed quite well to bring ourselves out of slums and bad equality why would you want take us back to that ?
If all this bullshit was to come true wouldn't we need our own people be looked after first? A hell of a lot of us live on the coast that's for sure .
I don't see any sea walls going up anywhere or any moves for this so called rise we keep hearing about . Sinking seems more of a problem with the sea levels around the world for populated areas rather than rises .
Why would Bangladesh be building coal fired power stations if it was such a worry for them even?
Want bring that environment here ?
Then again if we were going import the Dutch maybe different matter as they would be best experience at mitigation of it .
