ASX300 is the first of the bigger index's that is a possibility, however its a long way off as a market cap of around A$1b is needed for inclusion when S&P does its rejuggling. The threshold also moves with the market so in a few years could easily be A$1.2b market cap threshold. S&P rules also factor in liquidity so large companies with a tight share register may need an even higher Market cap. With 153m shares on issue there is no immediate possibility of inclusion and even at $6, E25 would still likely be below the inclusion threshold.
The ASX200 is the next major index above the ASX300. S&P recently rebalanced the ASX200 and the companies coming in had market cap's around A$2.5b. Prices well past $10 are likely to be needed for inclusion, even if the number of shares on issue increases.
Also a lot of posters don't understand how S&P create their indexes. There is likely to be a lot of ASX300 inclusion chatter well before its actually a realistic possibility.
