My guess now, based on no evidence at all is dropping the scoping study after 2pm Sydney time on the 31st. This would mean that the study was technically released during the quarter. It would also mean that it wouldn't be until Tuesday the 4th of Jan that trading occurs based on the announcement.
The market would have the weekend and Monday to read and digest the scoping report. Assuming it has favourable content, it could mean a really strong start to 2022 because the absence of the release during the next weeks trading may cause share price softness.
