Yes but i suppose the question is, is that going to still be the case in the future. Will people want to buy an EV that has been made using materials processed from coal. Will we sell our coal to China. The cost of renewables is falling rapidly. Wholesale electricity prices in SA are approx 5c/kWh right now, with some smart distribution, smart operations and continuing improvements in renewable tech who knows where we get to.
It would be interesting to understand how much of the cost is in transport, as this is obviously a big constraint for the company right now.
