SMR (Small Modular Reactor) tech is improving rapidly, and by the time we get to producing HPMSM these could be real options if Australia can swallow the Nuclear pill (I hope so, it makes so much sense). To me the only way to achieve the 'Zero Carbon Manganese' is with Nuclear to obtain consistent baseload for production. No reason why it cant be supplemented with renewables when available though.
