so is that a grade issue or the composition of the manganese - sorry can’t think of the technical term. I know in graphite as an example smaller flake size higher grade is preferable to create spherical graphite for battery anodes as it doesn’t require as much processing, which can be very energy intensive and costly. Are there similar factors at play with manganese, might do a bit more research.
