The article is speculating that Tesla is going to be able to substitute out a 60kWh LFP battery for a 66kWh battery but due to the higher energy density of LMFP, put this new higher capacity battery in the same space previously used by the 60kWh battery. More range for the same space in the vehicle at a similar unit cost. Someone might need a whole lot more HPMSM soon.
