This chart was posted onto Twitter with commentary about Copper demand. Manganese - the forgotten metal. Its used in making Steel to convert the iron ore into steel. Where-ever you see a steel dot on the picture below, there's a need for Manganese. Its also needed in NCM batteries. It looks like LMFP may take a significant share of the market currently taken by LFP. Manganese is the key new ingredient in LMFP.
That would mean Manganese manages a clean sweep of being required in all 7 columns. The difficulty for a table like this is how do you classify a metal that is essential but only in low quantities and is not particularly rare?
