Talk about astounding the price of Mn ore has just gone through the roof , S32 and Tshipi mine 3.5 million tonnes ( JMS and OMH) Price of Tshipi ore has just gone up US$2.35/dmtu to US$6.30/dmtu giving an annualised profit of an extra US$300 million.
Tshipi via Jupiter Mines increased its price for 36.5% Mn manganese ore to $6.30 per dmtu, up from $3.95 in May. Meanwhile South32 raised its May price for 37% Mn ore from South Africa to $6.50 per dmtu, up $2.20 from May. South32 did not announced a price for its high-grade Mn ore from Gemco.
Meanwhile, E25 management are sitting on their hands and all they can do is post on X (twitter) about how high the Mn ore price is. All they can think about is E25 funded trips to the USA with luxury hotels and restaurants. Meanwhile S32 and Tshipi are raking in a fortune, I doubt whether S32 will be rushing to get the jetty fixed.
