President Biden announced new tariffs on Chinese EVs,semi-conductors, solar cells and more.
President Biden announced new tariffs Tuesday on Chinese electric vehicles, semiconductors, batteries, solar cells, steel and aluminum. The tariffs on Chinese EVs will rise to 100%, quadrupling the current tariff of 25%.
As mentioned earlier in the week in response to posts from the court jester...no way the world is going to sit back and let a state owned country/dictatorship monopolise the auto industry. They've had a head start no doubt thru unethical, exploitave mining/means of the battery materials to date, but that advantage was always going to be short lived.
