Perhaps he could see that demand for EMM was only going to increase significantly as has transpired here. I'm for one greatful now that it wasn't published in July or August, the prevailing NPV wouldn't be as high as it will show considering current price's are at all time highs.
The lockdown in the ACT may have also contributed, delays with lab work from the CSIRO?
