We became that under the Hawke/Keating/Howard era. This is the destruction of that mentality those leaders manipulated for themselves to stay in power. Spin, Lies, deceit, backroom deals - that is what government was likely . Now it will change - for the better - just as the constitution envisaged it.

Hawke and Keating set it up - Howard finished it off in spades and Australia became a disgrace.
