good post. I do see your point. I just don't feel the forum should shoot down an opposing viewpoint. I see merit in Pear's advocacy of shareholder rights. As you point out, the argument applies both ways - ie. to trade or not to trade, that is the question.
KAR is either setting a standard to be followed, or other companies are not applying the same criteria while in negotiations...
After all, these are negotiations and, in my mind, regular course of business...
