If you are referring to my broker getting inside information that would be incorrect.

When my broker spoke to Paul all the scenario are "possible or interest". There was no confirmation on any of these so called "deals" are near or anywhere ner completion.

I see it as "promotional" rather an outright "buy and you will make money". Other stocks that I currently hold such as PRA, WFE, CFE ... if you call the respective MD they will be telling you either a glorified future or that "something is huge in the pipeline" but that "something is not yet concrete".

Another 2 company that certainly played this path in the past was CDU, LNC. Another company that is currently using this tone is NKP.

Its up to the investor to dissect the information and believe it or not. In the case of AQC I do not believe it.

My bottom line is that much management of speculative stocks play this "paint the best case scenario" in their talk. While it may be true that a company may have had 50 requests of data from potential suitors and yet no deal is presented.

There is a difference between "fantasy talk" and inside information which is price sensitive. If fantasy talk eventuates you can make a link that its inside information ... ok lets look at what my broker relayed to me:

"possible deal that is >$250million"

* Do we know the potential suitor here- NO
* Is this deal advanced? NO idea
* Is this just someone who may just be window shopping- No Idea
* Do we know if this potential suitor is credible- No
* What form is this $250million deal - No idea
* How long has this deal been on the table - one week, one month, one year ... No idea.

Britelite if you want to talk to a MD that borderlines disclosing inside information (or in my eyes wild promotional BS) try giving Cape Lambert Iron Ore a call and speak with Mr Tony William Sage. This guy has been doing this for the last 4 years.

I admit that AQC trading volume in March and April was much higher than it is now (and the share price was much higher than today). I suspect that this is due to "someone spreading something" or "a insider or a friend of an insider knowing something juicy" but once again its my guess. My guess is based on what is logical from experience. Do I have proof ... absolutely not.

When I wrote on HC about what my broker got from talking to Paul Byrne its to see what other "potential rumours" are floating around.

I think you are analysing just a bit too much at this stage Britelite.
