There is actually more serious debate in the general forum than the asx forum these days.
Take a look at how infrequent such people as Rembrant, acouch, alpha etc post these days.
It really is a pity because I for one enjoyed acouches charts and views as I did alphas. Rembrant especially was always actively involved in derivative education. I learnt heaps from his posts directly and indirectly.

We probably have all been guilty at some stage getting into slanging matches but the overall quality of stock analysis and debate has declined in recent times which is ironic considering the market uptrend.
