GAYDOM has the great opportunity to right a long standing wrong.

I fear they choose to want state sanctioned marriage as a way to eliminate their since forever ostracism . If so, then admirable enough.

Cute & rather sweet even.

And if so, then so be it.

Good luck to that...

But the real fault, it that government has ANY role in marriage whatsoever!

Government really has nothing to do HERE.

It would be great if the GAY community would rather build an endearing benefit to modern society, by lobbying that ALL forms of statutory recognition by governments in western democracies were simply struck from all marriage legislation and modern common law.

If the legal fraternity howls in anger and indignation at this prospect, then all the better!

For SURPRISE, upon SURPRISE, guess what the legal fraternity has in store for the gay ► married ◄ community.

DIVORCE!

... and a suet of fat, greasy DIVORCE FEES!

And apparently rather quite a lot of divorce fees too. This so, as by early guesstimates, the gay community isn't a high mark of fidelity, commitment & loyalty the proponents to gay marriage would have us believe?

Why would any reasonable social action group want anything as failed as hetrosexual marriage cast upon their comminity.

It is absurd!
