These board members were being paid to do a job supposedly. Go look through their announcements last year. See anything that reads "Armageddon". Many people have been in this stock since the BF days. MFS was on the ASX 200 list. MFS was audited regularly as per ASX rules by KPMG. The main players had margin loans & heaps of them. What the general players are saying is that sh^t has happened, there is no denying that, but there needs to be a change to the Board, NOW.
If there is 35% Stella left in the kitty then there is a great deal of hope if managed correctly & efficently. The existing board have no history or experience in this area. Remember Rolf & his margin calls are now part of the 65%sold off, so this is a matter of concern as to what will be happening with the financial side once CVC are calling the shots. How closely will those balance sheets need to be scrutinised to ensure that only Stella expenses are included. If Rolf is dealing with the existing board, formerly his best buddies then how would anyone know what the hell is honestly going on.
Just how much longer do we need to hang around beforew they can come forward with any news that matters. Their recent letter was a joke - None of them have the guts to walk, as MFS Board is the only job they will have for many yrs to come. Would you employ them?
So why should they be receiving a salary. Its like they burnt down the building & now look their doing us a favour by cleaning up the mess.
It is any wonder that none of them know what is going on as they had no idea what King was doing in the first place. Do you honestly beleive that deals were being discussed and voted on in the past. I would be surprised if you sat the Board down individually, gave them a questionnaire which included MFS events, purchases, loans etc, they would know anything. It is now obvious to blind freddy that this Board is like some type of cold case investigation.

This Board has been kept in the dark and that's what how they are now treating the shareholders. They could always bring back the previous Chairman, Terry O'Dwyer - very little got past him.
