the foolish unions don't understand that they are not only slowing down the inevitable, but also helping to destroy the industry. Remember all the auto workers and related industries in Australia that shut down? Because the car factories were not made more efficient with automation/ robots. Over 50,000 jobs disappeared. Thats how the unions here helped their members. Smart, no?
