Another day, and another disastrous EV related fire gaining world-wide attention.
The fire that broke out early yesterday evening in the car park of a car rental company near Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado airport, destroyed more than 200 vehicles before being extinguished and was being reported in the early stages as having begun in a Tesla brand ofelectric car.

You would hope authorities and insurance companies around the world have been watching what has been happening of late.
It's clear that the following needs to happen:
• EVs are banned from underneath high density residential areas
• EVs are banned from multi-story parking structures
• EVs have their own segregated parking areas in open air car parks at airports, shopping centers, etc, well away from other vehicles, people and infrastructure services
• Special Council permits required for off-street EV parking
