EV sale down not because consumers cannot buy due to interest too high, try getting a car loan impossible, top up house loan impossible, pay rise impossible, eating out everyday not possible buy coffee small $5 , see doctor out of pocket, some people earning 100k also doing 2 jobs, all these cause a slump in EV sales, stick to your old car now and how do you reduce emissions. Until interest rate is sorted out EV sales going to be hard.
