I've had mine coated with xpel ceramic tint (back and sides, not the bit from the mid post to the windscreen). No hotter than my previous car without a sunroof.
One thing I might do after experiencing a proper NQ summer will be to clear tint the windscreen. It would be the biggest concern for heat now. The top and back roof already only let in very minimal UV and IR rays.
legitimately the best run around car I've driven.... yes Ive been in Audi s3s, bmws, mercs. The dynamics of the drive are very good. The interior isn't as refined (maybe) but the simplicity is amazing... I would define a Tesla like an iPhone vs others more like androids. Maybe a poor analogy but makes sense to me.
*checks iPhone notification* Ahh nice car is back to 80% and cost less than a dollar. Cheers.
Oh PS: Tesla do have sun shades to cover the roof if need be.
