Do you expect the manufacturer’s to happily pay the billions in fines for failing to meet legislated goalposts for CO2 emissions reductions from their vehicle sales in not many years time? Or do you think they will already have plans in place to increase the portion of battery electric mobility platform cars to meet those goalposts and avoid the fines … and in the process maintain the demand trajectory for battery critical minerals like lithium? Hmm … what would the shareholders of those companies prefer to happen I wonder…
