Really?
I have been driving for that length of time too, but now I see far fewer broken down cars on the road.
I agree they are moreexpensive to repair, but my personal assessment is that they are more reliable.
Maybe the roads are better explains it? certainly far fewer radiator problems, and no more drum brakes fading.
