Like all new technology consumers are afraid to adopt. I remember when credit cards were slow to be adopted as the wall terminal was "too hard to operate". Hybrids are just a passing phase. They are currently the choice of people who want to go electric but are afraid. Hybrid drivers soon realize they don't need the petrol motor so why lug around 300kg of dead weight. Just like when steam replaced sail in ships some ships had both because they where not quite sure of steam. After 10 years or so these types disappeared. I have a Tesla Model 3. IT IS BRILLANT. Until you own a fully electric car you can never be in a position to comment with authority. So many people are experts on the matter and have never ever driven one. Go buy one, drive it for a month and then come and tell me they are no good.
