LFP chemistry is more tolerant of fast charging and high SOC but NMC, NCM and the other lithium chemistries, in fact every rechargeable battery chemistry in our world degrades faster if they are subjected to high rates of charge. I guess the level of "much faster" is subjective. If the battery in question wasn't subjected to all that fast charging it would not have needed replacing at that time and probably could go on to over 1M km.
