People are buying modern MGs for price point only in the first instance.
And some older gents are getting them for their wives as a daily because they have an MGB (or TD) in the garage for weekends.
They've also got a pretty decent warranty. Which should come in handy given their build quality aint incredible.
I'm very much connected in the local MG car Club and nobody get's them for the British heritage aspect. In fact some actively despise the new MGs.
