Especially in the peak evening period when people are getting home and preparing dinner.
That's assuming you don't live in a high density residential block that has banned EV charging, because the fire suppression cannot possibly deal with thermal runaway events.
When were the poles & wires put in, in your street? Back when the 2.4kW electric kettle (than ran for a few minutes only) was probably the most power hungry device in your home.
